Use Start to open the menu and begin to navigate through the menu items. As soon as you press the A button a second time to execute the selected menu command, press Down and B simultaneously. If performed correctly, the game will freeze on a black screen, and your character’s sprite will disappear from the Hall of Fame.

As soon as you regain control, your character will likely be facing a wall in the Hall of Fame. Walk forwards to clip through the wall. You should now be able to explore outside of the Hall of Fame and other areas of the game that are normally inaccessible.
